What is happening to my Baby?
Your baby is rapidly growing at this moment and actively moving. However, you would not be able to feel it moving yet. The fingers and toes have separated and the baby’s external genitalia is completely formed. At this stage your baby is about 44 – 60mm in length.
What is happening to me?
Your uterus could just be palpable above your pubic bone. As your baby is rapidly growing, it is not surprising that you may feel even more tired lately. You should keep up your balanced and healthy diet. Perhaps you should do some exercise to help deal with your fatigue. Read the section about exercise in pregnancy.
What should I plan this week?
- Book for an exercise class. This could be an aqua exercise or even a yoga class. Not only it will help reduce your tiredness, give you more energy and you to meet a lot of new friends too!
Tips of the week
Tips on how to do exercise in pregnancy:
- Start slowly and gradually increase the exercise intensity
- Do suitable exercise for pregnancy such as walking, aquaexercise and yoga
- Drink plenty of fluid before and after exercising
- Wear suitable and comfortable shoes and clothes
- Do relaxation and stretching movements before and after exercising
