What is happening to my baby?
Your baby is approximately 7 ½ inches long and weighs about 2.25kg. It is now gaining weight and the other organs are maturing. The lungs are not fully mature at this stage. However, if you somehow go into labor and develop the baby at this week, there is a good chance of the baby surviving but may have some difficulties with breathing.
What is happening to me?
The top of your uterus is now about one-finger breadth beneath your chest or breast bone. You may have been experiencing back pain for the last few weeks. Be careful with your back. Avoid lifting heavy things. You could also do some simple exercises to help stretch that back of yours.
What should I plan this week?
- Have you baby shower
- Start buying your baby’s things
- Continue writing your pregnancy journal
- Learn about amniotic fluid
Tip of the week
Tip on buying things for your baby:

- Write a budget and try as best as possible to stick to it.
- Ask from friends and relatives things that were essential and good brands for each product.
