What is happening to me?
By this week, you may be very anxious and can’t wait to get your baby delivered! Or majority women will already have delivered and are at home enjoying or coping with their life of motherhood! Do not worry too much if you have not yet delivered. Talk to your doctor about it.
Things to do this week:
  • See your doctor for an antenatal follow up
  • Discuss regarding timing and method of induction of labour
  • Prepare yourself for labour and motherhood
Tips on coping with post partum blues:
  • Take a deep breath and relax, post partum blues is common. All those feelings will gradually lessen and go away
  • Identify what is making you more stress or upset
  • Get help with the baby and the household chores. Be organize and make a list of chores that could be delegated to other people.
  • Take time to have a proper meal and sleep
  • If you feel overwhelmed vent out your feelings to your partner or closest friend and relatives
  • Tell someone if the feelings are not going away or becoming worse. See your doctor to get professional help!
  • Join a support group
