- See your doctor for an antenatal follow up
- Discuss regarding timing and method of induction of labour
- Prepare yourself for labour and motherhood
- Take a deep breath and relax, post partum blues is common. All those feelings will gradually lessen and go away
- Identify what is making you more stress or upset
- Get help with the baby and the household chores. Be organize and make a list of chores that could be delegated to other people.
- Take time to have a proper meal and sleep
- If you feel overwhelmed vent out your feelings to your partner or closest friend and relatives
- Tell someone if the feelings are not going away or becoming worse. See your doctor to get professional help!
- Join a support group
